Refund policy
All Returns/ Exchanges Require A Receipt.
30-Day Return Policy
You may return an unused and undamaged item for a full refund if it was purchased less than 30 days from the requested return. If the item was boxed or pre-packaged, it must be returned with the original packaging. If you need to return an item for a different size, the same rules apply. If 30+ days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we do not offer refunds.
Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returns. You may use any shipping carrier you would like. Once your item is received at the Shop, we will issue you a refund.

Exchange Requests
If you ordered the wrong product, changed your mind, or no longer want your item and you purchased it less than 30 days ago, you can return it and be refunded the cost of the item.
If you are requesting an exchange, you will need to purchase the item you would like from our website in order to receive your desired exchange. We will not send you out an exchange automatically. You will be issued a refund on the item you are returning once it has been received.

For example, if you need a new size of the same product you ordered, you can initiate a return . You are responsible for the cost of shipping. You can then go and purchase the item you would like to exchange it for. We will issue a refund when the returned item is received.
Please note that not all sizes or colors may be available, so exchanges are based on availability.
If, you ordered a hoodie in the wrong style and want to swap it out for a different style, we will kindly ask you to return it (for a refund) and place a new order altogether. You are responsible for the shipping of the returned item, as well as the new order.
We are a small business, and appreciate you understanding.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you a confirmation email. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please allow at least 10 days for your refund to be processed.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning or exchanging items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund from a returned item, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Missing your refund?
If you haven’t received a refund yet, double check your bank account (it can take up to 10 days). Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Replacements
We only offer replacements if the item arrived defective or damaged. Please send us an email at hello@thewoodsmaine.com with a photo of the item. Please notify us of exchanges immediately upon arrival.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when it was purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the item is received at the Shop, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will receive updates on the return.
