Coffee on steak acts as a tenderizer, making meat softer and enhancing its moisture by creating a sealed crust. Apply liberally with a neutral oil and let sit until the steaks reach room temp. Once at room temp, grill, roast, or broil your steak to perfection!
Try it with: Steak, venison, pot roast, beef burgers, or sautéed or grilled mushrooms.
How it’s crafted: This rub gets its distinct espresso aroma from dark coffee and cocoa combined with cracked peppercorns. Balanced with mustard, coriander, cloves and cinnamon plus cayenne for an additional kick.
